Adding numbers 1 – 10, representing a math problem in various ways, starting to write equations for numbers, solving word problems

Goal:
Providing students with many ways to practice adding and subtracting numbers in different ways.

Materials Needed:


  1. Worksheet
  2. Writing utensils




Explanation/Summary:
Students will be given this worksheet and they will read the word problem at the top and then represent the problem many different ways underneath the word problem. This includes ten frames, number line, equation writing, and drawing the problem.
