Time Chant

Targeted Needs of Student:
Telling time, remembering the value of each value of time (minutes, hours, day, week, year), using music to remember time

Goal:
Providing students with rhyming chant to remember the value of a minute, hour, day, week, and a year

Materials Needed:


  1. Chant posted in classroom – maybe one for each student




Explanation/Summary:
To help remember the difference between minutes, hours, days, weeks, and years students will learn this chant as a class. The teacher will say the chant and then have them repeat it.
