Divisibility Rules Foldable

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.6.NS.B.2: Fluently divide multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm.

Targeted Needs of Student:
Constructing number sense, providing examples of different divisibility rules, making a reference to see for different divisibility rules.

Goal:
Providing students with a reference to use when recognizing numbers’ divisibility rules

Materials Needed:


  1. Foldable template for each student
  2. Scissors
  3. Coloring and writing utensils
  4. Glue




Explanation/Summary:
This foldable can be used as students are taught the divisibility rules. After teacher instruction, students will then cut out the divisibility rules and paste them in their notebooks. They can then come up with at least three examples of each rule and write these examples in the side of their foldable.
