Explanation/Summary:
In this book,
a group of children are excited to eat cookies but they need to divide them
evenly. Each page more children come and they have to divide them so that
everyone gets the same amount of cookies. The teacher could have students
divide cubes or other manipulatives on their desk during the book being read.
Also this book can be great for introducing the vocabulary part and whole.
