Common Core Standards:

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.OA.C.7: Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.

Targeted Needs of Student:

Practicing multiplication facts, expanding knowledge of multiplication facts to 19, self-monitoring improvement

Goal:

To provide students with practice and extension of memorizing multiplication facts

Materials Needed:

1.      iPad or iPod

Explanation/Summary:

This app is a drill app that allows students to memorize multiplication facts to 19. This would be great for expanding the knowledge of a student who quickly memorizes his facts before others. Students can practice on the practice mode or they can test themselves in the Perfect Runs mode.
