I Have ___, Who Has ___ to 120.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.A.1: Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Extend the counting sequence.
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.1.NBT.A.1: Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.

Targeted Needs of Student:
Counting to 120, listening and paying attention to the numbers being read, sequencing of numbers

Goal:
Providing students with practice counting and recognizing numbers.

Materials Needed:


  1. “I have” and “Who has?” cards that all match



Explanation/Summary:
Students will each have a card with a “who has?” and “I have” part on the card. One student starts by counting the dots on the card under “I have” and saying “I have ____.” Then he counts the dots on the bottom to say “Who has ____” The person that matches the “Who has?” part then says their piece and the games goes until the person who started was called. Students must listen to hear their part and also count to know their dots on their card.
