Common Core Standards:
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.NBT.A.1:
Understand
that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds,
tens, and ones; e.g., 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones.
Targeted Needs of Student:

way of learning place value, expanding student knowledge from ones and tens to
hundreds and thousands, understanding how to read numbers larger than two
digits, using mathematical vocabulary
Goal:
To provide
students with a kinesthetic way of reading numbers to four or five place
values.
Materials Needed:
- Painter’s tape
- Sharpie permanent marker
- Paper and Scissors
Explanation/Summary:
